Job Summary
Coordinate patient care in collaboration with healthcare professionals to facilitate optimal clinical outcomes, quality, and cost effectiveness. Perform physical exams, administer medications, provide wound care, and deliver health promotions and counseling. Ensure compliance with MTF standards of care while supervising care provided by other personnel. Recognize adverse signs and react quickly in emergency situations. Make patient care assignments based on assigned skill levels and conduct research to support improved practice. Work Monday through Friday, 9 hours between 7:00am and 4:30pm. Requires an Associate degree in nursing, one year of RN experience, active RN license, current BLS/ARC certification, and ability to pass a government background check.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in nursing
- Graduate from an academic program, within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
- Minimum 1 years experience as a RN within the past 24 months
- Active, unrestricted RN license from any state
- Current ARC or AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- Ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance
