Job Summary
Analyze patient cases to assess needs and develop individualized care plans for Emergency Department patients. Prepare and process documentation related to patient care to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Research evidence-based practices and healthcare guidelines relevant to the assigned patient population to incorporate the latest knowledge into care plans and interventions. Review and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, monitoring patient outcomes and making adjustments as needed to optimize patient well-being. Requires an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, two years of Registered Nurse experience, and one year in a clinical specialty. Holds a North Carolina or Compact state RN license and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- 2 years as a Registered Nurse
- 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
- Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
