Job Summary
Accurately assesses residents' health status and educational/environmental needs on admission and ongoing basis; develops and revises care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team; communicates plan to IDT members, residents, and families; documents care plans on admission, cognition changes, or regulatory requirements; identifies nursing interventions including medication administration, treatments, and IV fluid administrations; monitors plan delivery, uses SBARR for physician communication, and utilizes QAPI processes to address problems; assists with ADLs and call lights; maintains current nursing practices and adheres to Bethesda policies; may be assigned other duties as appropriate. Role requires RN licensure, CPR/AED certification (within six months), and the ability to work with residents in a long-term care setting. Pay range: $29.39 - $48.20 per hour (annualized to $61,131 - $100,256) per year equivalent for full-time; location: MORROW, GA. Bethesda offers benefits and opportunities for career advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state you will be working
- Education from an accredited school of nursing that results in becoming a registered nurse
- CPR/AED certification required, or willing to obtain within six months of employment
- Long-term care experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Manual dexterity and lifting ability to assist with residents
- Ability to document electronically and in writing
