RN - Cardiovascular Surgery ICU (CSICU / CVICU)

RN - Cardiovascular Surgery ICU (CVICU/CSICU) provides and supervises patient care on a high-acuity cardiac/vascular ICU unit. Responsibilities include assessing and planning patient care, implementing and evaluating plans, supervising non-RN staff, serving as charge nurse, and coordinating education for patients and families. Clinical skills include neuro assessment, airway management, suctioning, management of tracheostomies and ventilators, and familiarity with devices such as IABP, Impella, LVAD, and ECMO. The role requires collaboration with the healthcare team, adherence to unit policies, and ongoing professional development in a fast-paced cardiac ICU environment.
