Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, reassessments, and discharge planning for cardiovascular stepdown patients while administering medications, managing IV fluids, and coordinating care with the health team. Document findings, implement evidence-based interventions, and provide patient/family education per protocols. Monitor clinical parameters, recognize changes in condition, and report variations immediately to physicians. Maintain infection control standards, manage restraints and pain management plans, and ensure accurate handoff communication. Collaborate on performance improvement initiatives and participate in unit committees to support quality care delivery.
