Job Summary
Provide patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, supporting both Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery teams with open heart, vascular, robotic, and minimally invasive procedures. Perform duties in circulating and scrub roles within a hybrid OR and peripheral vascular lab environment. Coordinate patient care across departments while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to Mercy Service Standards. Requires current Missouri RN license, BLS certification, and one year of RN experience. Full-time evening shift with call required at a Level I STEMI and Trauma Center.
Required Qualifications
- CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)
- FT, Evenings, Call Required
- Strongly prefer one year of RN experience
- Nursing degree from an accredited school
- Current Missouri RN license
- BLS certification
- OR nurse with experience in a surgical setting
- Interest in cardiovascular and vascular specialties
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Team-oriented with strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Interested in expanding skills in both circulating and scrub roles
