Job Summary
Conduct patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, supporting both Cardiothoracic Surgery and Vascular Surgery teams. Perform circulating and scrub roles during open heart, vascular, minimally invasive, and robotic procedures. Coordinate care across six operating rooms, including a hybrid OR and peripheral vascular lab, while maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to Mercy Service Standards. Work evenings with call required at a Level I STEMI and Trauma Center.
Required Qualifications
- Current Missouri RN license
- BLS certification
- Nursing degree from an accredited school
- FT, Evenings, Call Required
- OR nurse with experience in a surgical setting
- Interest in cardiovascular and vascular specialties
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Team-oriented with strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Interested in expanding skills in both circulating and scrub roles
Desired Qualifications
- Strongly prefer one year of RN experience
