Job Summary
Coordinate patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, supporting both Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery teams with open heart, minimally invasive, and robotic procedures. Perform duties in circulating and scrub roles within a hybrid OR and peripheral vascular lab at a Level I STEMI and Trauma Center. Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients while collaborating with surgical teams and adhering to Mercy Service Standards. Requires current Missouri RN license, BLS certification, and strong critical thinking skills in a high-acuity environment. Required Qualifications
- One year of RN experience
- Nursing degree from an accredited school
- Current Missouri RN license
- BLS certification
- OR nurse with experience in a surgical setting
- Interest in cardiovascular and vascular specialties
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Team-oriented with strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Interest in expanding skills in both circulating and scrub roles
