Job Summary
CVOR RN providing direct nursing care for open heart, valve surgery, coronary bypass, and congenital heart procedures in a fast-paced cardiovascular OR with a multidisciplinary team; utilizes EPIC charting, adheres to unit policies, and supports patient and family education and discharge planning; leadership responsibilities include supervising licensed and non-licensed staff, orientation, and participation in quality improvement; requires an Associate Degree in Nursing, NM or compact-state license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS with CVOR preferred; compensation includes sign-on/relocation benefits and shift differentials, with a range based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
- BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire
- ACLS
- PALS
- CVOR HIGHLY PREFERRED
