Job Summary
Cardiovascular & Neurosurgical Progressive Care RN on a 31-bed CVNS PCU unit working nights (0.9 FTE) at EvergreenHealth. Responsible for direct nursing care of cardiac and neuro patients, patient and family education, and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop and implement the plan of care. Maintains timely communication of patient information and changes in condition to supervisors and physicians. Requires WA RN license and a Diploma or ADN with minimum 1 year Progressive Care/Telemetry experience. BSN/MSN and PCCN certification are preferred. Wage range posted with potential premiums for shifts, certifications, or degrees. Unit focused on post heart Cath/interventional procedures and stroke patient care. This position is located in Kirkland, WA and is covered by a collective bargaining agreement with WSNA. Internal applicants only.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing)
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
- Minimum of one-year Progressive Care nursing experience
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS- American Heart Association by start date
- Current Healthcare Provider ACLS- American Heart Association by start date
