Job Summary
Assess comprehensive nursing needs of assigned patients, provide direct patient care, and function as a patient advocate. Coordinate patient and family education processes while continuously evaluating care plans in collaboration with physician partners and interdisciplinary team members. Communicate changes in patient condition, safety issues, and equipment problems to immediate supervisors and physicians on a timely basis. Document all relevant information and implement hospital policies and guidelines. Requires one-year progressive care experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and a Washington RN license. Located in Kirkland, WA, on the 31-bed CVNS PCU unit.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
- Minimum of one-year Progressive Care nursing experience
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS- American Heart Association by start date
- Current Healthcare Provider ACLS- American Heart Association by start date
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- PCCN certification is preferred
