Job Summary
Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to adult cardiac surgery and cardiology patients in the Cardiovascular ICU, utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach for surgical recovery across Vascular, ENT, Plastics, Ortho, Urology, and OB units. Deliver care consistent with the Oregon Nurse Practice Act and the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice while promoting inter-professional collaboration and a culture of safety. Requires 2 years of critical care RN experience, an accredited ADN or BSN, and current unencumbered Oregon licensure. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory, with additional orientation including a transition program lasting 3 to 26 weeks depending on the care area. Hourly compensation ranges from $55.24 to $92.02 based on degree and experience.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years Critical Care RN experience
- ADN or BSN in Nursing from a program accredited by Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA) 30 days before start date
- Current, unencumbered Oregon State Registered Nurse License
- BLS and ACLS from AHA required
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
