Job Summary
RN in Cardiovascular Care Unit (Intermediate) on an 18-bed unit with a 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratio. Responsibilities include initial patient assessment, developing and implementing plans of care, nursing interventions, accurate documentation, maintaining safety, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Performs post-procedure care, manages cardiac drips, provides discharge teaching, and supports ongoing patient and family education. Requires IL RN licensure, ACLS within 1 year, BLS within 30 days; inpatient hospital experience preferred. Sign-on bonus of $10,000. Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year - American Heart Association
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association
- HS Diploma/GED
- Associate's Degree
