Job Summary
Staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care; coordinates patient care activities with assigned staff and adheres to organizational policies; includes emphasis on cardiac telemetry units and unit-specific certification requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification (within 180 days for various units)
- PALS/NRP/PEARS as applicable for unit
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification (where required)
- Pediatric-related certifications (PALS/NRP) as per unit
- Experience: New graduates eligible; 1 year hospital experience preferred for some roles
