Job Summary
Staff RN providing nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Works within organizational policies and procedures, coordinates patient care activities of assigned staff, maintains standards of practice, and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. Requires active RN licensure in Georgia (NLC/eNCL multistate acceptable) with BLS, and units may require ACLS/PALS/PEARS as specified by specialty (Cardiac Tele, Critical Care, Dialysis, Emergency, Oncology, Pediatrics, Women’s Services). Bachelor's degree preferred; new graduates eligible. Night shift, PRN, in-hospital assignments with unit-specific certification timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing (Required)
- Georgia RN licensure or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure (Required)
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
- ACLS Certification - within 180 days for Cardiac Tele/CCU units (Required)
- ACLS and PALS Certification - within 180 days for ED/other units as specified
- PALS Certification - required at Piedmont facilities as applicable (within 180 days)
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification - required prior to independent chemotherapy administration (If applicable)
- New Graduates eligible (No experience required)
- Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred
