Job Summary
Provide direct patient care for cardiac and telemetry patients by monitoring cardiac rhythms, administering medications per physician orders, and responding to changes in patient condition. Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate care while educating patients and families on cardiac health and recovery. Maintain accurate patient documentation and uphold professional accountability for the assigned patients. Work the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) on a 35-bed unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. Candidates must hold an active RN license and obtain BLS and ACLS certifications within 30 days.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Missouri or compact license)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Full-Time (36 hours/week)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in telemetry, cardiac care, critical care, or medical-surgical nursing
- Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills
