Job Summary
Provide direct patient care for cardiac and telemetry patients, monitor cardiac rhythms, and respond to changes in patient condition. Administer medications and treatments per physician orders while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams. Educate patients and families on cardiac health and recovery, maintain accurate patient documentation, and evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Work nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a 36-hour week in a 35-bed unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Missouri or compact license)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Full-Time (36 hours/week)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in telemetry, cardiac care, critical care, or medical-surgical nursing
- Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills
