Job Summary
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition for the 35-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit. Provide direct patient care for cardiac and telemetry patients, administer medications per physician orders, and educate families on recovery. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and maintain accurate documentation while managing conditions like STEMI, CHF, and arrhythmias. Work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Missouri or compact license)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Full-Time (36 hours/week)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in telemetry, cardiac care, critical care, or medical-surgical nursing
- Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills
