Job Summary
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition for direct care of cardiac and telemetry patients. Administer medications and treatments per physician orders while educating patients and families on cardiac health and recovery. Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and maintain accurate patient documentation on a 35-bed unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. Requires active RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Missouri or compact license)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Telemetry – Days employment type
- Full-Time (36 hours/week) employment
- Days Shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) availability
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in telemetry, cardiac care, critical care, or medical-surgical nursing
- Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills
