Job Summary
RN - Cardiac Telemetry 2, PT role providing nursing care from birth through the lifecycle, coordinating patient care, and maintaining standards of practice under Piedmont Augusta Hospital. Role requires Georgia RN licensure with multistate option, BCLS, ACLS/PALS certifications as specified by unit needs, and completion of required certifications within set timeframes. Sign-on bonus available. The position entails hospital-based nursing care in a Cardiac Telemetry setting with emphasis on professional growth and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification - (Nurse Residents or nurses new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 6 months of start date) within 180 Days
- PALS Certification - required at Piedmont Columbus Hospital (Nurse Residents or nurses new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 6 months of start date) within 180 Days
- PALS Certification - required at Piedmont Athens Hospital (Nurse Residents or nurses new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 6 months of start date)
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification prior to independent chemotherapy administration Upon Hire
- NRN/PEARS or PALS Certification - required at specific hospitals within 180 Days
- ACLS; PALS if unit provides care to pediatric patients (Nurse Residents or nurses new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 6 months)
- NRP by the end of orientation period
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program within 12 months
- NICU NRP by the end of orientation period
- BABIES - NRP by the end of orientation period
