Job Summary
Overview: Sign-on Bonus Available. The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Works within organizational policies, demonstrates professional growth and accountability. Coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff to provide quality nursing care. The role requires an RN license for Georgia (multistate licensure acceptable), BCLS, ACLS/PALS where applicable, and unit-specific certifications to be completed within stated timeframes. This is for a Cardiac Telemetry nursing position on night shifts at Piedmont Augusta Hospital, with a focus on cardiac telemetry, critical care competencies, and adherence to specialty certifications as outlined by the addendum.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nursing program (Required)
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
- No experience required (New Graduates eligible)
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions (Required)
- RN - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure (Required)
- BCLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
- ACLS/PALS/NRP/CPR and unit-specific certifications as applicable (within 180 days)
- Pediatric certifications as applicable (within 180 days)
- Oncology/Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification where applicable (Required)
- Pals/PEARS/PALS as per unit (within 180 days)
