Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle while coordinating patient care activities for all assigned staff. Maintain standards of practice within the organization's policies and procedures to ensure quality care delivery. This role requires current Georgia RN licensure, BCLS certification, and completion of specialty-specific certifications such as ACLS within 180 days. New graduates are eligible for this position, with a preference for those with prior hospital experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nursing program
- No experience required
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- ACLS and PALS Certification
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- PEARS or PALS Certification
- PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU - ACLS; PALS if unit provides care to pediatric patients
- BLS required only
- Labor and Delivery-ACLS Certification
- NRP by the end of orientation period
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program
- NAT (Newborn Admission Team)- NRP
- Nursery- NRP
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree

- Advanced certification in field of specialty
- PALS Certification
