Job Summary
Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry, Night shift: Responsible for planning, supervision and evaluation of the nursing care of patients, correlating the nursing process with the medical plan of care and hospital policies. Develops, implements, and updates the plan of care; educates patients and adheres to patient rights. Requires active state RN licensure (Tennessee or Compact), BLS and ACLS. Diploma in nursing preferred. Performs age-specific patient care, participates in performance improvement activities, and maintains professional ethics and safety practices.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing as evidenced by verification of state licensure
- Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license
- Current BLS and ACLS required (ACLS certification must be acquired within 30 days if not on hire)
- Two years of experience in a hospital or medical environment preferred
