Job Summary
Conduct cardiac telemetry and medical-surgical nursing care on the nights shift from 7:00pm to 7:30am with rotating weekends and holidays. Provide patient monitoring, assessment, and intervention for cardiac and medical-surgical units while maintaining current Illinois RN licensure. Maintain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications within one year of start date. Requires one year of inpatient RN experience and an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Earn hourly pay ranging from $36.00 to $55.80, with a new minimum base rate of $37.25 starting in October.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing
- 1+ years' of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Basic Life Support
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within one year of start date into position
- Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) within one year of start date into position
- Nursing major within five years of position start date
