Responsibilities include assessing patient status at admission and during shifts, performing procedures and documenting care, administering prescribed medications and monitoring responses, responding to patient needs promptly, and educating patients, families, and caregivers about their condition, treatment plan, potential side effects, and follow-up measures to ensure understanding.
