Job Summary
Cardiac Stepdown RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care in a Memorial Health University Medical Center setting. Responsibilities include assessing patient condition at admission and each shift, performing procedures as ordered, documenting care in the medical record, administering prescribed medications, and maintaining knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients. Requires RN licensure and current ACLS/BLS within designated timeframe; degrees required include Associate or Bachelor’s in Nursing. Located in Bluffton, GA (Savannah region).
Required Qualifications
- RN — Registered Nurse
- Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/BLS) within 30 days of employment start date
- No Travel Required
- RN license in good standing
