Job Summary
Provide pre-operative and post-operative cardiac nursing care as part of the Progressive Care unit. Collaborate with medical providers to deliver patient-centered care, assess patient condition at admission and each shift, administer prescribed medications, document care in the medical record, and maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
Required Qualifications
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date
- Associate Degree, or Bachelor Degree in Nursing
