Job Summary
Provide patient care in the Cardiac Stepdown unit using the nursing process while maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. Coordinate care across departments and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Ensure patient rights and confidentiality of information are upheld throughout the shift. Requires current Missouri RN licensure, BLS certification, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs with prolonged standing. Weekend option schedule (Fri, Sat, Sun) with a $20/hour differential for hours between Friday 7:00 AM and Monday 7:00 AM. Sign-on bonuses available up to $10,000 for experienced nurses or $5,000 for new graduates.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate Degree in Nursing
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Nursing Diploma
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri
- Compact licensure in accordance with state board of nursing regulations
- Previous hospital experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
