Job Summary
RN for Presbyterian's Cardiac Step Down unit in Albuquerque, NM (and Chicago, IL per posting hints), providing telemetry monitoring and specialized care for cardiovascular disorders including myocardial infarction, coronary intervention, pacemaker implantation, and electrophysiology procedures. Unit supports patients requiring telemetry with ~50% progressive-care-type patients, across a 38-bed unit with collaborative, multidisciplinary care and personalized discharge planning. New graduates are welcome with a Nurse Residency Program, and there are sign-on and relocation bonuses, tuition/certification reimbursement, and various lead roles eligibility. Opportunities for night/weekend differentials, malpractice insurance, and EPIC charting support are included.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Associate Degree: Degree from accredited academic nursing program preferred
- Credentials: Registered Nurse-NM, State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
- BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire.
