Job Summary
Provide advanced nursing care to cardiac patients, including heart failure, arrhythmias, and post-surgical care for cardiac procedures. Perform comprehensive assessments, monitor vital signs and hemodynamic status, administer IV drips and cardiac medications, respond to emergencies, and provide pre- and post-procedural care for cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, and pacemaker insertions. Educate patients and families on managing cardiac conditions and collaborate with cardiologists, dietitians, physical therapists, and case managers to develop individualized care plans. Eligible candidates may participate in a Nurse Residency Program and may receive sign-on and relocation bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
- BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire
