Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in Cardiac Specialty Care providing advanced cardiac nursing across conditions such as heart failure, arrhythmias, and post-surgical cardiac care. Responsibilities include comprehensive cardiac assessments (vital signs, heart rhythms, hemodynamics), administration of IV drips and cardiac medications, monitoring for changes and emergencies, pre-/post-procedure care for catheterizations, angioplasty, and pacemaker insertions, patient and family education on managing cardiac conditions, and collaboration with cardiologists, dietitians, physical therapists, and case managers to develop individualized care plans. Requires Associate Degree in Nursing and NM license or Compact State license; BLS certification at time of hire. Offers include sign-on and relocation bonuses, tuition/certification reimbursement, and a Nurse Residency program for new graduates. Work arrangement is full-time with varied days/hours in Albuquerque, NM area (local site: Bismarck, ND remote note reflects a separate posting context).
