Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Progressive Care unit, applying specialized nursing knowledge to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Develop and coordinate the patient’s plan of care to optimize outcomes and transitions across the care continuum; monitor and document patient condition; advocate for ethical and holistic care; foster learning for patients, families, and other care team members; lead and coordinate teams to deliver evidence-based nursing within safety and quality standards. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Washington RN license, BLS and ACLS upon hire, NIH Stroke Scale certification within 90 days of hire, and 1 year of nursing experience. 12-hour shifts; full-time position with competitive benefits; aligns with Providence Swedish’s mission and professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire
- 1 year Nursing experience
