Job Summary
RN - Cardiac Progressive Care role providing patient-centered nursing across cardiac progressive care patients. Responsibilities include applying Nursing Professional Practice to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care; developing and coordinating patient plans to optimize outcomes and transitions; monitoring and communicating patient condition; maintaining essential competencies; advocating for ethical and holistic care; facilitating learning for patients, families, nursing staff, and students; ensuring safety and quality by integrating evidence-based practice; leading and coordinating interprofessional care teams; practicing to the top of license and adhering to professional standards. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Washington RN license, BLS/ACLS on hire, NIH Stroke Scale certification within 90 days of hire, and 1 year of nursing experience. Full-time, 36-hour weeks with 12-hour shifts. Includes a $15,000 hiring bonus for eligible external candidates and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire
- 1 year Nursing experience
