Job Summary
Collaborate with the healthcare team and patient families to identify and meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs while promoting optimal health and safety through the nursing process. Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values in a supportive, team environment. Provide compassionate care to patients with cardiac, cardiac surgical, vascular, pulmonary, and arrhythmia conditions at Penrose Hospital. Work three 12-hour shifts per week, including night shift differential from 11pm to 7am, with self-scheduling options to balance your workload.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- RN License
- Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- One year experience
- Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
- Ability to exert up to 50lbs force occasionally
- Ability to exert up to 20lbs frequently
- Ability to exert up to 10lbs constantly
- Availability for three 12-hour shifts per week
- Availability for night shift differential from 11pm to 7am
