RN - Cardiac Pavilion (PRN, Nights)

Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients in the Cardiac Pavilion, maintaining professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments while ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are upheld. Maintain a current RN license and BLS certification, and perform duties requiring the ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds regularly, along with prolonged standing and walking. Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am. Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- Other unit specific certifications as required
- Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift
- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of RN experience preferred
