Job Summary
Interpret the plan of medical care, assess patients' clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, and assure nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner. Administer medications, monitor patients for reactions, record vital signs, and report symptoms or changes in conditions. Consult with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans, modifying treatment plans as indicated by patient responses. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records while accurately screening and triaging acute patients. Work 36 hours per week with a rotating 50/50 day and night shift split including weekend and holiday requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of RN experience
- ICU experience preferred
- Associate's Degree Nursing
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing
- MA Registered Nurse License
- Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year
- Familiarity with the principles and skills needed for practical nursing to provide patient care and treatment
- Knowledgeable of the care required by respective age groups for which care is being provided
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients
- 36 hours per week
- 50/50 split between day and night shifts
