RN Cardiac Cath-Structural Heart

Prepare patients for structural heart and cardiac cath procedures, assist physicians with advanced transcatheter therapies including valve treatments and left atrial appendage procedures, and operate technical instruments for patient monitoring and image processing. Conduct nursing assessments, identify potential problems, calculate and administer pharmaceuticals, and document significant patient data clearly. Perform pre- and post-procedure patient teaching while interpreting physiologic reactions and taking appropriate action. Requires a Massachusetts RN license, BSN preferred, with critical care or cardiology experience including Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology background. CPR and ACLS certifications mandatory. Flu vaccination required or exemption statement needed.
