Job Summary
As a Cardiac Catheterization Lab RN, you will apply essential clinical knowledge to positively affect patient outcomes within the nursing scope, performing assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care. You will exercise strong clinical judgment and nursing skills while adhering to policies on confidentiality, report critical information promptly, provide comfort and pain assessment/reassessment, document succinctly per policy, and collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to coordinate an effective plan of care for Cath Lab patients.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or associate's degree from a professional nursing program (required)
- Current licensure as an RN in the state of Virginia or current multi-state compact RN license with eligibility to practice in VA is required.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider (required)
- 2 years of RN experience is required
