Job Summary
The RN Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse provides specialized care in a fast-paced cardiac procedural environment for adult/geriatric patients. Procedures include STEMI/CODE MI, PTCA and Diagnostic Cath, Structural Heart Cases, with femoral/radial access, Balloon Pump & Impella, Arthrectomy, IVUS & Closure Devices. Uses EPIC and XPER; may float to Electrophysiology Lab or Pod D Recovery. Patient ratio 1:1; duties encompass ICU-level cardiovascular care within a Cath Lab setting.
Required Qualifications
- Active New York RN License
- BLS (AHA) Required
- ACLS (AHA) Required
- EPIC Experience Required
- Minimum 1+ year of RN Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Experience with STEMI / CODE MI
- PTCA & Diagnostic Cath Procedures
- Structural Heart Cases
- Femoral / Radial Access
- Balloon Pump & Impella
- Arthrectomy, IVUS & Closure Devices
