Job Summary
Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for patient assessment, medication administration, moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, circulating and scrubbing during EP and invasive procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Duties include preparing and caring for patients undergoing catheterization and interventional procedures, monitoring vital signs during procedures, collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans, educating patients and families about procedures and post-procedure care, and maintaining accurate patient records to ensure regulatory compliance. Requires an Associate Degree in Nursing with either NM or compact-state licensure and BLS at time of hire; CVL/critical care experience preferred. Offers enhanced sign-on and relocation bonuses for experience, and tuition/certification reimbursement options are available. This role is eligible for relocation bonuses up to $6,000 for nurses relocating to NM. Location(s): Albuquerque, NM and Bakersfield, CA. EPIC electronic charting is used for documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
- BLS REQUIRED at time of hire
- Previous CVL or critical care experience preferred
