Job Summary
Conduct patient assessments to detect changes in resident condition and communicate updates to doctors, families, and the Director of Nursing. Perform medication passes per state regulations, oversee STNAs and CNAs, and provide hands-on care while maintaining resident dignity and safety. Represent nursing as a team player across facility departments and encourage residents to exercise their rights. Work 24/7 coverage including weekends and holidays with on-call rotation for the Director of Nursing. Requires an active Ohio RN license, current CPR, and one year of elderly care experience.

- Required to perform medication passes in accordance with state regulations for a residential care facility
- Oversee and direct STNAs and CNAs within the realm of their job description
- RNs represent nursing as a team player to other departments throughout the facility
- Communicate any changes in condition of a resident to the doctor, family and Director of Nursing
- Assist with hands on care when required or requested by other personnel or a resident
- Work toward maintaining each residents self-respect, personal dignity and safety
- Encourage residents to exercise their resident rights
- Understand the facility must be staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including weekends and holidays
- Understand the you will be on call at time for the Director of Nursing
- RN must have Nursing Degree from an accredited program or college/university
- A current, unencumbered, active Ohio RN license
- Current CPR
- Experience with PointClick Care
- At least one year experience in Elderly Care
- Physical
- Background Check
- Mantoux (TB) Test
- Drug Free Work Place
