RN Blood Cancer -Oncology

Job Summary
Direct patient care for oncology patients with emphasis on blood cancer, performing nursing processes and achieving outcomes per the Texas Nursing Practice Act. RN will work at Medical City Dallas with strong staffing support, technology-enabled workflows, and ongoing clinical education. Requires a BSN within 24 months of hire (if hired after 6/1/2012), current Texas RN license or compact license, BLS, ACLS within six months, and ONS chemotherapy biotherapy certificate within 60 days of hire/transfer. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- BSN within 24 months of hire for RN position (if hired after 6/1/12)
- Current RN license in Texas or compact license
- Current BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- ACLS required within six months of hire or transfer (effective 10/01/23)
- ONS Chemotherapy biotherapy certificate course required within 60 days of hire or transfer (effective 10/01/23)
