Job Summary
RN for Oncology/medical-surgical patients in a nationally recognized health system. Role centers on organizing, modifying, evaluating, documenting and maintaining a holistic, family-centered care plan per ANA/ONS standards, with emphasis on improving clinical outcomes in blood cancer oncology. Requires BSN within 24 months of hire (if hired after 6/1/12), Texas RN license or compact license, BLS certification, ACLS within 6 months of hire/transfer, and ONS chemotherapy biotherapy certification within 60 days. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
- BSN required within 24 months of hire if hired after 6/1/12
- Current American Heart Association or ARC BLS provider
- ACLS provider within 6 months of hire or transfer (effective 1/1/24)
- ONS Chemotherapy biotherapy certificate course required within 60 days of hire or transfer
