Job Summary
Provide direct patient care within the scope of the Texas Nursing Practice Act for oncology patients with emphasis on blood cancer and disorders. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program; if hired after 6/1/12, BSN must be completed within 24 months of hire. Maintain current Texas RN license (or compact), BLS, ACLS within six months, and complete ONS chemotherapy biotherapy certification within 60 days of hire. Eligible for a sign-on bonus with comprehensive benefits and education support.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
- BSN within 24 months of hire for those hired after 6/1/12
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS
- ACLS within six months of hire or transfer (effective 10/01/23)
- ONS Chemotherapy biotherapy certificate course within 60 days of hire or transfer (effective 10/01/23)
