Job Summary
RN Blood Cancer - Oncology role providing direct patient care to oncology patients with emphasis on blood cancers. Responsibilities include applying nursing process and achieving outcomes, maintaining staffing support and utilizing technology to streamline monitoring and communication. Requires BSN (within 24 months for hires after 6/1/2012), Texas RN or compact license, BLS, ACLS within six months, and ONS chemotherapy biotherapy certificate within 60 days. Includes comprehensive benefits and a sign-on bonus potential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- BSN preferred within 24 months of hire for those hired after 6/1/2012
- Current RN license in Texas or compact license
- Current BLS from AHA or ARC
- ACLS required within six months of hire or transfer
- ONS Chemotherapy biotherapy certificate within 60 days of hire or transfer
