RN - Birth Center Registered Nurse

Provide and direct safe, culturally-competent patient care for mothers and infants, managing assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care using critical thinking and evidence-based practice. Adhere to Professional Practice Standards and actively participate in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities. When effective assessment skills and independent judgment are evident, roles expand to include labor and delivery and/or transitional nursery duties. This 12-hour night shift (7pm-7:30am) position requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing, NRP certification within six months, and Basic Life Support. The role involves some accountability for scheduling and acting as a group leader or assistant supervisor.
