Job Summary
RN Birth Center Nights – provide direct patient care in the Birth Center using the nursing process, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, prioritize wellness and evidence-based practice, and precept fellows/new staff. Requires active RN licensure, ACLS/NRP within specified windows, C-EFM within 1 year, and BLS/CPR card valid through start. Onsite, part-time role with night shifts (2 weeks per pay period). Pay range is $35.29-$54.71 per hour, with generous UCHealth benefits and professional development opportunities. Responsibilities include direct patient care in Women's Care and Infants units (Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery - Birth Center, NICU references in standards), adherence to AWHONN/AACN practice standards, and participation in safety/quality initiatives while supporting education and training for competency validation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- ACLS and NRP within 6 months
- C-EFM within 1 year of hire
- BLS/CPR card in-hand before start date
