Job Summary
Provides top-of-scope direct patient care in the Birth Center/NICU Women’s Care units using the nursing process; collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes; precepts those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth; works in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment; supports safety and quality at point of care; role includes direct care for mothers and newborns, with guidance from practice standards such as RNC-OB, C-EFM, NRP and CCRN; offers ongoing education and career growth opportunities within UCHealth.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship program
- ACLS and NRP within 6 months. C-EFM within 1 year of hire.
- BLS/CPR card at start or valid through 60 days after hire
