Monitor and utilize therapeutic equipment to provide specialized nursing care to patients with behavioral and/or mental disorders. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement a plan of care, ensuring coordination between physicians and support staff. Assess, plan, intervene, and advocate for patients on an ongoing basis, reevaluating responses and revising plans as necessary. Act as a role model and mentor to new graduate nurses and orientees. Develop long and short-term goals consistent with treatment plans, incorporating patient preferences. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures safely while recognizing changes in clinical conditions. Ensure infection control, HIPAA compliance, and evidence-based practice within hospital standards. Provide ongoing assessments, review test results, and communicate critical findings timely. Supervise and delegate patient care activities while developing accurate teaching and discharge plans. Full-time days shift in Bellflower. Starting salary range $48.00–$66.80 per hour (average for 12 hours). $20,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates with acute care RN experience.
