Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Behavioral Health on weekend days. Provides patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinating with physicians, nurses, and the care team to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Administers prescribed medications, monitors for side effects, and assists with procedures as needed. Maintains infection control protocols, documents care thoroughly, educates patients and families, responds to emergencies, and participates in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes in a behavioral health setting.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation preferred
